What I offer
What to expect
I provide a confidential and non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences with care.
I offer individual therapy sessions, which take place weekly and last 50 minutes each.
My fee for each session is £65.00.
My practice is within easy reach of the M4 motorway and therefore accessible to the areas of Reading, Shinfield, Wokingham, Winnersh, Woodley, Lower Earley, Spencer’s Wood, Swallowfield, Eversley, Finchampstead, Hartley Wintney, Hook and surrounding areas. We are on Reading bus routes served by Leopard 3 and Mereoak P&R 600.
Please note my room is upstairs so I’m unfortunately unable to accommodate you if you can’t use stairs.

I offer an initial short phone call to establish whether we might be able to work together. From this you choose to schedule an online or face-to-face session.
At this first session I'll ask for some basic information to get to know you and also use this time to answer any questions that you might have. If it feels like we are a good fit for working together, we will schedule additional meetings.
I provide both brief therapy, typically lasting 6 to 18 sessions, to focus on specific concerns, and longer-term therapy to delve into deeper emotional challenges. You are always in charge of how many sessions you want and we review regularly.
Drop me an email or give me a call to discuss.

My Approach
In line with most psychotherapies, Gestalt offers the opportunity to explore what’s happening for you. This means exploring the ways you’ve learned to be in the world, looking at how your thoughts, feelings and bodily sensations influence how you are in each passing moment. I take a relational approach, focusing on our dynamic in the therapy room and how it connects to broader cultural and societal influences.
Life is inherently interconnected, and you’re not meant to navigate every challenge alone. If you’re feeling stuck, anxious, or unsettled—or sense that something isn’t quite right—therapy offers a space to explore these feelings and find a way forward.
Gestalt psychotherapy is a useful way to explore past events, focusing particularly on how things influence you in the present. I walk alongside you, exploring your situation with compassion and curiosity. I believe change comes through acceptance, rather than willpower or self-bullying.
I focus on the connection between your body and mind, paying close attention to how emotions manifest physically, for some people this may feel unfamiliar at first. Together, we explore the unique ways your body communicates, often uncovering meaningful insights and heightened self-awareness. If you’re curious or have questions, I’m happy to offer an informal chat before scheduling a session.
I have a strong interest in LGBTQIA+ issues, particularly supporting women navigating significant life transitions. This includes those exploring their sexuality later in life, experiencing the complexities of menopause, managing the challenges of divorce, or facing societal pressures related to aging.
I’m passionate about creating a safe and affirming space for self-discovery, helping clients explore their identity, embrace change, and cultivate self-acceptance during these pivotal moments. My approach is rooted in empathy, understanding, and a commitment to individual empowerment.
